I'm Back

I am crazy busy, but I have begun my window farm journey 2.0.

Here is my design for the airlift. There is a screw-in connector in the bottom of the reservoir, which goes to the T connector which needs to be lower than your water level. The lower you hang the T the better.

The top of the T goes up to the top of the window farm, and the other end of the T goes to the airpump with a control valve on it to reduce the flow.

This set-up works way better than the coil in the bottom of the reservoir.

  1. Does the tube connect to the bottom of the reservoir or does it come out at the top? If it comes out the bottom, how do you insure there are no leaks? Is it silicone glued or have gaskets - what is the method used to connect? Thanks. Your airlift explanations are the best I have read. I'm not a physics major, just an old woman in Minnesota trying to grow my own food.
